ABOUT US
Mira Costa Badminton is an athletic program at Mira Costa High School that allows students in every grade to compete as well as develop their skills to the next level.
Mira Costa High School Badminton has been a highly competitive sports team, having won multiple CIFSS Team Championships as well as achieving other top performances in both CIFSS Team and Individual Championships. Badminton team members have represented the USA in international competitions, both during and after their high school careers.
The MCHS Badminton Team is co-ed and consists of Varsity and Junior Varsity. The Head Coach is Patty Perkinson. Assistant Coaches are Cindy Levin and David Levin. Practices are held at the Mira Costa Athletic Complex in the Pavilion, combined with many matches/tournaments throughout the Badminton season.
For those students who are also MBCC members, there are additional voluntary practices on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the MB Badminton Club.
