The Mira Costa Badminton Booster Club is an organization of parents who work behind the scenes to benefit all of our young athletes to sustain a truly excellent badminton program.

Fair Share Donation
The Mira Costa Badminton program enjoys a growing reputation as one of the premier high school programs in Southern California.
However, our school district provides only limited funding for our sports teams. Costa athletics would cease to exist without the generous donations from our students’ families and Booster Club fundraising activities. Currently, all operational expenses associated with the badminton program are funded directly by our badminton families via our "Fair Share Donation," a donation amount based on anticipated costs for the year. Your tax-deductible donation will help cover necessary expenses including the coach/trainer stipends, tournament entry fees, transportation costs, equipment and more.
For 2024/25, the suggested Fair Share Donation amount is $425 per player.
Please note that your student may participate and travel with the team whether you contribute or not. We also welcome those who wish to share their time and talents to contact our Board to find out how you can best help the team.

Check payments are preferred (allowing the 5% online payment processing fee to go towards the program) and should be made out to MBX Foundation and write Mira Costa Badminton and your student’s name on the memo line. Please contact Lauren Swick for mailing instructions.
